Services

Annual Carp Fishing Event

During the Monday-Friday event, we provide lessons for young anglers, focusing on basic techniques and skills to help them catch carp. These include casting, watercraft, bait and application, fish care and photography.

It is a great time away for a parent/carer and child where everyone learns, catches a few fish and has fun.

What age groups do you cater to?

We have had kids as young as 5, right up to 15 years old attend the academy.

Do you provide equipment for lessons?

Attendees usually have their own equipment but if you are defifient of something we can usually provide or recommendations can be made for purchase.

How can my child participate in events?

Please email us for an application form or for more detailed information.

How long are the events?

The events run from Monday morning to Friday morning. Staying at the lake in bivvies.

Do I have to bring a parent/guardian?

Yes, you have to be accompanied by a parent/guardian at the event. The parents love the event too and often learn some stuff themselves.

Can my parent/guardian sit in on the lessons?

Yes, we are perfectly happy for them to sit in. We often find that they learn a few things too.
